Use
Among all production processes and operations in the technological set of operations for growing agricultural crops, subsoiling has the largest and most direct impact on the soil water regime.
By modifying the soil structure and texture, cultivation creates various conditions for taking up and retaining rainwater, for its flowing on the surface or penetrating in depth, for its evaporation or storage, i.e. to increase or reduce the productive moisture in the soil.
Subsoiler is an agricultural implement that is capable of restoring the soil structure with compact loosening and drainage of the soil layer.
The advantages of cultivating the land using subsoiler are the following:
- Deep loosening of the soil without plow heels, since the treatment is not carried out by cutting the soil but by using and preserving its natural porous structure;
- loosening, crushing and evening the soil layer by means of one operation;
- treatment that improves the soil condition, moisture storage and moisture retention.
Agricultural production technology, recommends subsoiling every 4 to 5 years, or for 20-25 % of the cultivated area in order to destroy the existing plow heel.
Subsoiler is available with working depths in the range from 1,8 m to 3,6 m. It is a mounted type equipment and aggregates with 150 - 300 hp tractors over the three-point hitch system. The working depth is up to 450 mm. A safety pin is provided for each working body.
The shape of the working body leaves no plow heel in the soil layer and provides the air required for running vital processes.
The evening roller additionaly creates the best soil condition. It can also move on inclined terrains up to 15%.

According to the number of working bodies, the machine is manufactured in several modifications: with seven, nine, eleven or thirteen working bodies. The technical parameters of the different machine models are given in the following table:
